Product description and application

GH3536 is a Ni-Cr-Fe-based solid solution strengthened deformed high-temperature alloy. When used in casting, the corresponding grade is K4536. The alloy has moderate durability and creep strength below 900°C; it has good oxidation and corrosion resistance, good hot and cold processing formability and welding performance. It is suitable for manufacturing components such as aircraft engine combustion chambers that are used for long periods of time below 900°C, as well as high-temperature parts that are used for short periods of time with operating temperatures up to 1080°C. The main products are plates, strips, pipes, bars, forgings, rings and precision castings.

GH3536 has been widely used in foreign aeroengines and civil industries. In my country, it has been used to manufacture aeroengine combustion chamber components, honeycomb structures, diffusers, tail nozzles and other hot end components.

The cooling rate in the quenching process of GH3536 finished product is one of the important factors affecting the alloy process. Rapid cooling can control the precipitation of brittle carbide films at grain boundaries. When the alloy solid solution temperature is higher than 1175°C, carbide films are also likely to form at the grain boundaries. The alloy exhibits a certain degree of age hardening after long-term aging, which reduces the plasticity and high-temperature strength.
