Laser particle size distributor

Laser particle size analyzer, as an important tool for particle size characterization of powder materials, has become a popular particle size analyzer and has been widely used in various fields.

The principle of measuring and analyzing the abundance of physical particles is that in the propagation of light, the wave front is limited by holes or particles equivalent to the wavelength scale, and the emission of each element wave at the restricted wave front interferes in space and produces diffraction and scattering, and the spatial (Angle) distribution of diffraction and scattered light energy is related to the wavelength of the light wave and the scale of the holes or particles. With laser as the light source, the light is a certain wavelength of monochromatic light, diffraction and scattered light energy spatial (Angle) distribution is only related to the particle size. For the diffraction of particle groups, the amount of each particle level determines the size of the light energy obtained at the corresponding specific Angle, and the proportion of light energy at each specific Angle in the total light energy should reflect the distribution abundance of each particle level. According to this idea, a mathematical and physical model can be established to characterize the abundance of particle size and the light energy obtained at each specific Angle, and then an instrument can be developed to measure the light energy, and the abundance ratio of the corresponding particle size can be derived by comparing the light energy measured at a specific Angle with the total light energy.
